The Most Advanced Medical & Laser Technology

The Maragh Dermatology team offers years of combined experience in the most advanced techniques in skin care, including Mohs Micrographic surgery with cosmetic facial reconstruction for the treatment of skin cancer to the latest techniques in the minimally invasive face and body rejuvenation including liposuction and cellulite treatment.

    Mohs Skin Cancer Surgery

Mohs micrographic surgery is the most advanced technique for the treatment of skin cancer offering the highest cure rate for basal and squamous cell carcinomas. It can also be used for the treatment of malignant melanoma. It involves the systematic removal and analysis of thin layers of skin at the location of the skin cancer until the last traces of cancerous tissue have been eliminated. The immediate and complete microscopic examination and evaluation of excised tissue is what differentiates Mohs surgery from other cancer removal procedures. Only cancerous tissue is removed, minimizing both post-operative wound size and the chance of regrowth. This allows for the best cosmetic surgical reconstruction with minimal scarring or change in your appearance. High precision makes Mohs surgery ideal for the elimination of cancers in cosmetically important areas such as the face , hands, feet and genitals. The procedure is performed by Dr. Maragh in the office based Surgery Center on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia.

    Cooltouch Endovenous Laser Ablation

The CoolTouch® CTEV laser has a 1320 nm wavelength, which has been found to be the most comfortable and EFFECTIVE laser treatment for varicose veins. With the CoolTouch CTEV, a small single needle incision is made in the leg and the fibre is inserted into the varicose vein. The laser is activated and as the fibre is moved through the vein it gently heats and safely closes the vein. Once the vein is closed, the blood that was circulating through this vein is simply re-routed to other healthy veins and the varicose vein essentially vanishes. You will experience minimal, if any, pain, bruising or post-op complications and the success rate is 98-100%.*
